Men's New Era

Inventing and reinventing headwear and the classic baseball cap, New Era was founded by German immigrant Ehrhardt Koch, who borrowed a small loan from his sister and started producing Gatsby-style caps. The gamble paid off, and after creating 60,000 in its first year, Koch brought his son Harold into the company, who tapped into the baseball market. New Era created its first professional baseball cap for the Cleveland Indians in 1934; 20 years later, after developing the "22 Steps" to producing the perfect cap, it released its iconic 59FIFTY cap in 1954. After becoming the exclusive headwear partner with the MLB in 1960s, it diversified into college and AAA teams in 80s. Popularised by Spike Lee in the 90s, New Era further stamped its mark by creating its world-famous flag logo in 1996. It continues to be a juggernaut of fashion, signing deals with the NFL and NBA in 2000s, and crossing the Atlantic to provide official headwear for sports teams and organizations around the world.
