American Rag Cie operates a flat-rate delivery service for both domestic and international customers.
United States delivery
Orders of $150 or more: FREE (serviced by UPS Ground, 1-5 business days)
Orders under $150: $9.99 (serviced by UPS Ground, 1-5 business days)
Express delivery on all orders: $19.99 (serviced via UPS 2nd Day Air)
Orders of $250 or more: FREE (serviced via USPS Priority Mail International)
Orders under $250: $29.99 (serviced via USPS Priority Mail International)

American Rag returns policy - 30 days returns for most online purchases
If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, you may return the items postmarked within 30 calendar days of receipt for online store credit or a refund to your original method of payment. Please note that original shipping charges are non-refundable. Items must be returned in their original condition (unworn, unwashed, unaltered) with the tags attached. Shoes should be returned with the original shoe box, free of both damage and postal labels. All sales are final on goods marked down 25% or more, as well as on earrings, lingerie, hosiery, and swimwear.
Items purchased in person at our Los Angeles location may only be returned for exchange or store credit within 14 days of purchase and are not eligible for online returns.
If you wish to return or exchange items from your online order, please complete the returns form included with your shipment. We offer a prepaid returns label to make the returns process easier. When using this label, a shipping and handling fee is required and will be deducted from your refund.

Print your label and attach it to the outside of the package;
Drop off your package at the nearest USPS location;
Wait for us to notify you via email once your return has been processed. Please allow 2-3 business days from the time we receive your return for it to be processed.
What is your in-store return policy?
American Rag Cie accepts returns for in-store purchases within 14 days, for exchange or store credit only. Merchandise must have the original tags and receipt. Vintage goods, sale goods, undergarments, and earrings are final sales. There are no refunds for in-store purchases.
Where does American Rag ship to?
We ship to all 50 states, and internationally via UPS and USPS. Please contact us by email for any additional details.
I can’t track my package – what should I do?
You can use the links below to view and monitor the status of your shipments by inserting the tracking number we supply to you. Please allow 24 hours for your initial tracking details to activate.
When will my package ship out?
We ship orders on regular business days, Monday through Friday. Orders received by 11:00am Pacific Time will generally ship on that business day. Orders received after 11:00am Pacific Time will ship on the next business day.
Can American Rag ship to more than one address in a single order?
During the shopping process, you will be asked to choose one shipping address for your delivery. If you would like your items to be sent to separate addresses, please request an address replacement when purchasing. Remember that you can always contact our customer service team, who will be happy to assist you.
How will I know my order has been received?
After your purchase has been made, you will receive a confirmation e-mail, though this does not mean that your order has been accepted by us. The order will be accepted and sent to you once your credit card and address details have been approved and verified.
What is your retail arbitrage (reselling) policy?
At American Rag, we put our customers first and we’re committed to offering a convenient shopping experience. In order to ensure we have the inventory of products to meet our customers’ needs, American Rag reserves the right to prohibit purchases to resellers or suspected resellers.
What payment methods does American Rag accept?
You can choose to pay by credit card or debit card. American Rag accepts Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express.
Is it safe to use my credit card online?
At American Rag, all payments are made using the most advanced, secure technological systems and coding methods.
Will my personal information be kept private?
Will there be additional duties or taxes payable on my purchase?
Orders placed in California will be taxed at your local sales tax rate. Recipient addresses in the United States will have no additional cost. For non-US, however, you will need to check with your local customs office the tariffs that may apply.
Part of my item has broken. Can you send me a replacement?
Unfortunately, we can only sell complete items and not replacement parts for them.
Homeware by Maison Midi: Delivery & returns
Due to the unique and wide-ranging shapes and sizes of our products, all domestic delivery costs are calculated at checkout, based on your location and the services available in your area, by our delivery partner UPS. International orders are calculated in the same way by DHL.
If for any reason you are not happy with your homeware purchase, you may contact us via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) to start the return process.
We must be notified within three days of your delivery confirmation, and items need to reach our store within 14 calendar days of your purchase date to be granted online store credit. No refunds are permitted at this time. All sales are final for sale items, as well as the following categories:
- Glassware and Stemware;
- Blankets and Throws;
- Kitchen Utensils;
- Bath Towels;
- Bath Mats;
- Kitchen Towels;
- Kitchen Napkins; and
- All Furniture.
