Founded shortly after Dobbs Industries - which made outerwear for the US Department of Defense (Air Force and Army) from 1959 - Alpha Industries entered the commercial market in 1970, using the designs it excelled in to bring a military aesthetic to casualwear. A pioneer of branding and marketing, Alpha introduced its flying "A" logo in 1992, and first started trading online in 1997. Partnerships with NASA, Hot Wheels, and more have helped the brand constantly evolve and adapt to modern tastes for retro styles.
