Just in time for #ThrowbackThursday - renowned European running and outdoor gear company, Karhu, will be striding its way into American Rag Cie in-store and online with a renovated piece from one of their most noted collections.

Karhu met a milestone last May with the brand’s centennial birthday. And what better way to celebrate than with a relaunch of one of the company’s most classic styles?

The Synchron was specifically selected for its “notable silhouette, original materials, and unique lacing system.”

It was key to keep the one-of-a-kind lacing structure, as it is known for it’s personalized ability to tighten the forefoot portion of the shoe upon repeated use.

This timeless shoe now has a “new compression molded EVA midsole” to model most running shoes today. Yet, there are still visual pieces that stay true to it’s original 1990’s debut.

The dual density construction and original mesh appearance stay in tact, accompanied by an improved take on the pigskin suede.

In efforts to modernize but not take away from the shoe’s composition, improved Air Cushion technology can be seen on the outsole.
