Snow Peak’s Takibi (“bonfire”) line is made to be worn around a campfire, and these jeans use the same idea for denim. They’re cut from 10.7 oz Japanese denim woven in Fukuyama, Hiroshima, with Kanekalon® flame-retardant fiber in the weave. The flame resistance holds up through repeated washing, so a stray spark is less of a worry. The denim is water-washed only, so it starts deep indigo and fades naturally as you wear it.

The fit is high-waisted, with a straight, semi-wide leg. Double-layer cotton twill panels reinforce the knees, and the belt loops are reinforced too, so the jeans are made for real use. The five-pocket layout has curved front pockets and a coin pocket, and there’s a leather-like name patch on the back.

If you’re not happy with your purchase, you may return the items postmarked within 30 calendar days of receipt for online store credit, or a refund to your original method of payment. American Rag Cie also accepts returns for in-store purchases within 14 days, for exchange or store credit only.

Vintage items: We do not accept returns for any items of vintage clothing as all sales are final.
